1 box yellow cake mix (dry)
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
½ cup light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13″ baking dish.
In a bowl, mix dry cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared dish.
Sprinkle pecans evenly over the crust.
In another bowl, whisk brown sugar, remaining 2 eggs, corn syrup, and vanilla until well combined.
Pour the mixture evenly over pecans and crust.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and set.
