I was cooking some ground beef and, when I removed it from the pan, I noticed a strange object that didn’t look like meat.

 A photo of a strange, worm-like object found in food recently caught the internet’s attention, leaving many people disturbed and confused. Highlighted by a bold red circle, the object appears soft, pale, and peculiarly shaped, situated among small food particles on a wooden surface.

At first glance it seems alarming: something that could easily be mistaken for a parasite or contamination. Naturally, this type of image generates fear and concern, especially when it seems to relate to something we’ve eaten.
